Introduction to Orff

Available July 18 - July 22, 2011

The idea of infusing the arts into the classroom curriculum is gaining increasing recognition in education.  Literacy through rhythm and rhyme is designed to provide easy, practical approaches for integrating the arts into the elementary classroom providing strategies for developing auditory processing and articulation, and designs for activating students' listening abilities.  Experiences will underscore language and children's literature.  the course will address a wide range of abilities.  Also, a foundation course, excellent preparation for going on to Level I. Recommended for classroom teachers and anhone interested in learning the Orff process.
